VAFA Live Coverage This Weekend

By Joe Pignataro · July 29, 2022
VAFA Live Coverage This Weekend

We are moving into the final third of the home and away season. You will not miss a moment this VAFA weekend as we have you covered!

MECWACARE MATCH OF THE DAY ON RSN CARNIVAL

Both Caulfield Grammarians and Old Melburnians went down in shock results during Round 13 of the William Buck Premier Men’s season.

The four points this weekend could not be more vital in the context of both seasons. For Old Melburnians, a win will keep their hopes of a top-two finish well and truly alive, while for the Fields, they need to win to stay out of the relegation zone discussions.

Hear from both coaches in the pre-game ahead of the first bounce, and then a stacked commentary team on RSN Carnival with Joe Pignataro, Nick Duxson, Josh Heriot and Tommy Flanagan.

To hear the coverage live and uninterrupted, tune into RSN Carnival 1 on your digital radio, download the RSN927 app and select RSN Carnival 1, or stream directly from the VAFA website.

VAFA FOOTY DOESN’T STOP

In Premier C, Ormond are fighting for their own survival this season as they play host to Old Mentonians. Having lost the last 5-matches they’ll be keen on having the E E Gunn Reserve rocking with their powerful stands of fans as they attempt to turn this form slump around. While the Panthers are hellbent on keeping their mini finals chances alive.

The penultimate round of William Buck Premier Women’s sees West Brunswick welcome ladder leaders St Kevin’s to McAlister Park. While the remaining sections of the VAFA Women’s competition moves into finals, for the games top-flight there’s still two rounds of action to go. St Kevin’s can’t lose a top 2 spot, but would love nothing more than to complete the season with the minor premiership next to their name.
