James Francis is the man Oakleigh Amateur F.C. are excited to announce the appointment of our new Senior Coach to lead them into 2023.
Francis, has an impressive background coaching Premier Grade VAFA in 2021 with Old Trinity and is ready to take Oakleigh Amateur F.C. to the next level.
He was assistant coach at NAB league club Gippsland Power for three years and Marcellin College for two seasons.
Pat Heverin who is putting his hand up to be Oakleigh’s next president was excited to have Francis joining the club.
“It’s exciting to have James’ experience at the club,” telling NewsCorp last week.
“We are excited for James to take our young group to the next level.
“We believe we got the young blokes and culture at the club, we just need a coach to nurture us through the next stage so it is a very exciting appointment.”
Oakleigh finished 6th in 2022 in Division 1 Men’s and will be looking to take their game to the next level in search of a spot in the top four in 2023.
