Inside The Boundary – Unveiling the Big V Women’s Coach in 2023

By Joe Pignataro · April 27, 2023
Inside The Boundary – Unveiling the Big V Women’s Coach in 2023

The VAFA Women’s Podcast features Melbourne Uni’s Lucy Watkin and former Prahran FC star, Sophie Welsh taking you Inside the Boundary.

With the VAFA announcing earlier this year the return of the Big V, the competition is pleased to announce 2018 AFLW Premiership coach, Paul Groves as the senior coach for the Big V Women’s side in 2023.

‘Grovesy’ joined the team on Inside the Boundary to discuss the honour of being selected as the coach. The differences in coaching boys and girls, and the thrill the players will feel wearing football’s most famous and recognisable jumper.

Ahead of the Big V contest on July 15, Lucy and Sophie discuss which side is the #1 seed in William Buck Premier Women’s, plus who’s the smoky selection for the League B & F according to Watkin.

Where has the improvement from at Monash Blues in Premier B?

Which of the winless sides in Division 3 will claim their first win of the year this weekend, and we preview the big clash between Old Brighton and Marcellin in Division 1.

Subscribe to Inside the Boundary wherever you get your podcasts to never miss an episode, new releases every Thursday morning.
