The VAFA congratulates Oscar Duncan, who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 2. Duncan was a key performer in Old Xaverians win over Old Melburnians, making his mark in the senior side in William Buck Premier Men’s.
What the club said:
Oscar has followed on from a fantastic Under 19 season in 2022, where he was part of the premiership side.
Senior coach James Byrne said, “Oscar thoroughly deserved his chance at senior football, after a few injury interruptions over pre-season. He is a young developing ruckman that works hard on his craft. Oscar is a student of the game and a keen learner, but most of all a huge competitor and loved by his team mates. He has great athleticism and skills for a tall player and this is just reward for his commitment and work ethic.”
The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) today announced the commissioning of an independent Strategic Review of the Association. Consistent with our commitment of reviewing and refining the Association’s strategic objectives
