The VAFA congratulates Sarah Poustie from Old Scotch on receiving the Round 3 Anytime Fitness Women’s Rising Star nomination in her senior footy debut from the weekend.

Old Scotch Stars Coach Dean Anderson said “The 17-year-old Sarah Poustie made the most of her break from the Coates Talent League where she represents Oakleigh Chargers to play her first game for the Old Scotch Stars on Sunday.
Sporting a distinctive coloured helmet Sarah went about her senior footy debut with great style, courage, and determination, named best on by our coaching panel.
Despite juggling school & Chargers commitments Sarah has been a regular trainer with us, demonstrating her determination to develop her football prowess. Sarah’s hand and foot skills were on display for everyone to see on Sunday as she racked up quality possessions against tough opposition.”
