VAFA and Heaps Normal Brew Up New Partnership

By Susan Miller · August 1, 2023
VAFA and Heaps Normal Brew Up New Partnership

The VAFA is delighted to welcome market leading non-alcoholic beer company Heaps Normal to its commercial partner family as the “Official Non-Alcoholic Beer Partner of the VAFA Finals” for seasons 2023 and 2024.

Through the partnership, Heaps Normal will provide fans at the William Buck Premier Women’s and Premier Men’s Grand Finals with a mobile retail offering, game day sampling, game day activations and Heaps Normal merchandise giveaways.

VAFA CEO Jason Reddick commented, “As a community competition that prides itself on providing a safe and welcoming environment for all, the connection with ‘Heaps Normal’, a like-minded non-alcoholic beer company, is the perfect partnership for the VAFA.  I’m sure many of our supporters will enjoy, as I have, the fine tasting ‘Heaps Normal’ beers whilst watching and celebrating games of Amateur football”.

Matt O’Brien, Heaps Normal Brand Marketing Manager said, “We couldn’t be happier to be an official partner of VAFA. The sense of community, inclusivity and bringing people together are all things we hold dear. Cheers to the continuation of enjoying a beer after a great game – now without the downsides.”

About Heaps Normal:

Heaps Normal was founded by a few mates looking to cut back on the booze. Fortunately, they weren’t alone. The shift to a more mindful drinking experience had already kicked off on a global scale… led by a quiet riot of artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, parents and 24-hour party people. It turns out reducing our alcohol consumption doesn’t have to mean being boring and doesn’t always mean being sober.

Fast forward a few short years and we’re making a real impact with Heaps Normal now available in thousands of venues across Australia and further abroad. We’ve doubled down on our focus on supporting and partnering with other likeminded legends across Australia, particularly in the worlds of music, sports and queer and first nations communities.

We’re a dedicated non-alcoholic beer company, brewing beer without the hangover, so you can create your own epic new normal. Our story is based on the simple belief that there’s things in life that are too good to be wasted.
