Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 William Buck VAFA Finals Luncheon, to be held on Friday 8th September at Zinc at Fed Square.

Attendees will be treated to an afternoon of entertainment, headlined by four-time Hawthorn premiership hero Jarryd Roughead and 2010 Collingwood premiership star and media personality, Dale Thomas.

Renowned MC and VAFA Premiership player Nat Edwards will again drive the afternoon interviewing these two stars about participating in the best month of the season, September.

Roughead had a remarkable career with the Hawthorn Football Club. As a key forward, he played a pivotal role in Hawthorn’s dominant period in the 2010s, winning premierships in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015, and was an All-Australian on two occasions. Roughead now works across game day, leadership, mentoring, and list management at the St. Kilda Football Club.

Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas showcased his talents as a midfielder and forward, contributing to Collingwood’s 2010 premiership triumph, and securing All-Australian honours in 2011. After eight years at the Pies, Dale moved to the Carlton Football club. He retired in 2019 after 14 seasons and 258 games and now works at Triple M and Channel 7. Earlier this year, Thomas played one game for Old Paradians, kicking five goals.

Guests in attendance will also be treated to hearing from hosts of the VAFA’s For the Love of the Game Podcast, Joe Pignataro and Josh Heriot with a full preview of the VAFA finals series.

Tickets are $165 per head include a two-course meal, complimented by a premium beverage package from 12:30 – 3:30 pm. The VAFA Board and Staff look forward to seeing you at Zinc and wish all clubs playing in the 2023 finals series the best of luck.
