
2025 Premier B Women’s Fixture
The Premier B Women’s fixture has been released for the 2025 season. New club Port Melbourne Chargers will host Old Melburnians in their historic first home game at JL Murphy
The VAFA is pleased to advise the promotion of Dale Christie to the role of General Manager Football & Umpiring, and Gabriella Martin to the role of Football Operations Manager, effective from 1st January 2024.
Dale steps into the role held previously by Matt Collister who is moving on after 4 years at the VAFA, to a newly created position at Netball Australia.
Dale commenced at the VAFA as Football Operations Manager on 1 June 2023. Dale has extensive football club administration experience, having worked in various capacities at AFL level with St Kilda FC, state VFL level with Frankston FC, and community level with De La Salle FC.
Gabriella previously worked in netball association administration before joining the VAFA as Football Operations Coordinator in April 2023. Gabriella has worked closely with both Matt and Dale on a range of matters throughout 2023.
CEO Jason Reddick said, “Both Dale and Gabriella have proven themselves to be quality people and conscientious administrators worthy of these promotions.
“They are both highly motivated to continue to raise the benchmark for delivery of industry best service to our Clubs and Association.
“Whilst it is always great to be able to promote people within the organisation, what’s most important is that I have every confidence in Dale and Gabriella, along with Umpire Operations Manager Stephen Privitera, to continue to deliver and drive the high standards expected of our VAFA Football and Umpiring department.”
