On Saturday, the VAFA community gathered at Holmesglen Conference Centre in Chadstone for the 2024 VAFA Conference.
The VAFA Club Conference presented a great opportunity for VAFA clubs to connect and network early in the year while hearing from a host of fantastic presentations on topics including concussion and injury management, Play HQ, VAFA Policies, VAFA support, Tackle Your Feelings program, Breaking Barriers program, digital resources, fundraising opportunities and the Love the Game program.
With many new volunteers leading VAFA clubs in 2024, it was great to highlight the support and opportunities the association provides its clubs while connecting with new faces, as well as with returning volunteers who have been a part of the VAFA community for an extended period of time.
The VAFA Conference was the optimal platform to bring together VAFA clubs and a number of the association’s key commercial partners. New and exciting partners, along with many familiar partners in the VAFA network had the opportunity to activate within the commercial trade fair and to connect directly with clubs.
The VAFA would like to thank all clubs who attended as well as community, football and commercial partners who enabled the success of the day, including Holmesglen as the VAFA Club Conference hosts.
The VAFA Conference presentations as well as relevant slides and contact details will be uploaded to the VAFA Community Hub in upcoming days.
For any clubs wanting more information from Community & Club Support or Football & Umpiring presentations please reach out to Sean Walker or Dale Christie. For any clubs wanting more information about Commercial partner products and services please reach out to Glen Towers or Susan Miller.
