Rocket to Launch 2024 VAFA Season

By Susan Miller · March 22, 2024
Rocket to Launch 2024 VAFA Season

The VAFA is thrilled to announce four-time premiership Hawk, and former Sydney Swans, Western Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Suns coach, Rodney “Rocket” Eade as guest speaker for the 2024 William Buck VAFA Season Launch.

A talented and fast running wingman, Eade earned the nickname “Rocket” for his ability to break open the game with long, driving kicks on the run. With a career spanning over 40 years, Eade has found himself back where it all began with a new role as part of Hawthorn’s administration team, driving the fundraising efforts for the Kennedy Community Centre.

The 2024 VAFA William Buck Season Launch will be held at Q Events on Wednesday 3rd April.

Join us to celebrate the launch of the new season, Certificate of Merit awardees, and hear from an AFL great and his connection to the VAFA.

BOOK TICKETS NOW

The VAFA Board and Staff look forward to seeing you at Q Events to celebrate the start of this much anticipated season of our great Association, just ahead of the opening round.
