The VAFA is thrilled to announce four-time premiership Hawk, and former Sydney Swans, Western Bulldogs and the Gold Coast Suns coach, Rodney “Rocket” Eade as guest speaker for the 2024 William Buck VAFA Season Launch.
A talented and fast running wingman, Eade earned the nickname “Rocket” for his ability to break open the game with long, driving kicks on the run. With a career spanning over 40 years, Eade has found himself back where it all began with a new role as part of Hawthorn’s administration team, driving the fundraising efforts for the Kennedy Community Centre.
