VAFA and Anytime Fitness extend partnership

By Susan Miller · April 8, 2024
VAFA and Anytime Fitness extend partnership

The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) is delighted to announce a partnership extension with market leading health and fitness network Anytime Fitness.  Anytime Fitness will continue to present the Anytime Fitness Rising Star Men’s and Women’s awards in 2024.

VAFA CEO, Jason Reddick commented, “Anytime Fitness and the VAFA have had a partnership connection extending beyond 10 years, reflecting a shared set of values and a focus on health and wellbeing of young men and women.

As the naming right partner of our VAFA Rising Star award for our brightest young Amateur players, we thank Simon Olive and the team at Anytime Fitness for their continued support and helping our players reach their fitness goals.”

Anytime Fitness National Marketing Manager, Billie Hutchison said “We’re excited to extend the partnership between the VAFA and Anytime Fitness in Victoria. We share a strong commitment to community and a healthy, active lifestyle and we are thrilled to continue our support of the league in 2024.”

About the Anytime Fitness Rising Star Award:

The VAFA recognises the talented young players in the competition by awarding the Anytime Fitness Rising Star Award. Each week, the Rising Star Committee nominates one male and one female player based on outstanding performance from the previous round of football. The nomination is published in the VAFA Amateur Footballer record, on VAFA social channels and on the VAFA Website, accompanied by a article and image of the player. This weekly nomination provides the player with an opportunity to be selected as the overall Anytime Fitness Rising Star winner of the year.

About Anytime Fitness:

Anytime Fitness is celebrating their 16th year in Australia, offering members 24/7 access to any gym in the network. With over 560 clubs and over 670,000 members nationwide, they are Australia’s largest gym network. Whether you’re a gym junkie or you just bought your first pair of runners in 10 years, Anytime Fitness is the gym network that is for any body, any time.
