
2025 Premier B Women’s Fixture
The Premier B Women’s fixture has been released for the 2025 season. New club Port Melbourne Chargers will host Old Melburnians in their historic first home game at JL Murphy
The VAFA congratulates Nick Mavropoulos from Glen Eira/Old McKinnon, who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 12.
The 19-year-old played 4 games in the Under 19s for the Gryphons last season and has stepped up to senior footy this season, playing in all 12 Senior games and polling Best Player votes in 6 of them, including the last two matches against AJAX & Oakleigh. Nick featured in the recent Holmesglen Under 19’s Showcase, taking his place amongst the VAFA’s most promising young talent.

After an impressive pre-season, Nicky Mav was selected in the Senior Men’s Premier C team for Round 1 of the 2024 season and celebrated his 19th birthday by being best afield in his second senior game.
Our club is very proud of Nicky Mav’s achievements so far in his short career. Always smiling, he is a quiet and humble young man who is an absolute joy to watch on the football field and a wonderful person around our club. We look forward to him starring in many more games at Packer Park for years to come.
