The VAFA congratulates Josh Walker from Collegians who has received the Anytime Fitness Rising Star nomination for Round 15. Josh has not missed a beat this season playing every match. He has scored a total of 17 goals and had a breakout performance in the Lions’ win over Uni Blues on the weekend where he was featured in the best for the sixth time.

We were thrilled to land Josh Walker in the off season. Josh was a Collegians boy, excelling in junior footy and playing well at NAB league level. He is a well rounded sportsman, also being a star junior batsman in cricket.
Josh’s improvement throughout the year has been profound. He is very competitive, and also possesses a high level of class and skill that compliments his hardness.
