They led both those games deep into the last quarter, and if they’d won them both, would be outside the Top 4 on percentage right now. But they didn’t, so they face a critical game against one of the benchmarks of the competition – St Kevin’s.

The Saints sit second at 6-1 but have been repeatedly challenged, with 4 of their 6 victories coming by 16 points or less. Beaten by Caulfield Grammarians a fortnight ago, Tom Purcell’s team responded by grinding out a win over Old Geelong.
