The four-part video series was played at the recent Big V Centenary Gala Dinner, held at Centrepiece at Melbourne Park on Thursday 10th July. Part 1 was released last week – watch it here.
Part 2: 1975 – 2000
The Big V was challenged more fiercely throughout the 1970s and into the ‘80s, leading the VAFA to invest more time, energy and strategic planning into ensuring it remained at the front of the representative footy pack.
The 1980s saw the creation of the first Premier-Divisional team, while the final Amateur Carnival was played in 1994 – the Big V dominant once again to claim another national title.
