The 2025 Toyota Good for Footy Raffle is well underway, and VAFA clubs have once again stepped up in a big way to raise vital funds for their communities.
We’re excited to celebrate the top six fundraising clubs from the VAFA thus far, with Mazenod not only leading the charge within our competition but also sitting 2nd nationally for the second year in a row.
As of July 22, Mazenod have raised a phenomenal $22,640, demonstrating the power of community spirit and dedication. They are followed by another strong performer in La Trobe University who have brought in $4715, and Fitzroy with $3785. Rounding out the top seven are North Brunswick ($2490), Richmond Central ($1850), Brunswick ($1625) and Prahran ($1360) – all of whom are making a real impact by embracing this initiative and rallying their networks.
The raffle continues to be one of the easiest and most effective ways for clubs to generate revenue with 100% of funds raised going straight back to the club. With prizes including brand new Toyota vehicles, there is no better time to encourage friends, family, and supporters to jump on board and buy a ticket.
In 2025, the VAFA has 60 clubs registered for the program and raising funds for their clubs. To every VAFA club, well done! But now is the time to push even harder. Every ticket sold helps fund new jumpers, equipment, Women’s programs, coaching resources, player development, and much more.
Whether you are leading or just getting started, there’s still time to make a difference. The raffle closes on 8th September at 12.00pm or when all tickets are sold out.
Keep selling and keep aiming high!
