VAFA’s live Round 15 coverage features four enormous William Buck Premier Men’s clashes, ALL of which will impact the finals and/or relegation races! See all the details & live stream links below.
SATURDAY AUGUST 9
Kick off your VAFA Saturday with our KommunityTV live-stream – a William Buck Premier Men’s double-header as two recent rivals renew hostilities when De La Salle host Old Haileybury at Waverley Oval.
Looking solely at the current ladder, you could be excused for thinking this is a slam-dunk game for the Bloods. But dig a little deeper, and you’ll soon see that all the pressure is on Old Haileybury, not De La. Is the week Old Haileybury breathe some life and confidence back into their finals assault, or will De La pull off arguably the upset of the season?
Enjoy our LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage on KommunityTV, with Reserves from 11.35am, followed by the Seniors coverage from 1.45pm. A News Corp subscription is required to watch the live stream on KommunityTV – sign up from just $6 per week.
This week’s SEN VAFA Match of the Day is a critical game in the race to avoid relegation as St Bernard’s host Collegians at the Snake Pit.
Collegians have been in the top flight since 2007, but their string of narrow losses (including last week’s 4-point heartbreaker to SKOB) has left them fighting for survival in 2025. The Dogs are one game ahead, but well behind on percentage – so a Lions win would see them leapfrog the Snowdogs out of the danger zone.
Enjoy our award-winning VAFA SEN MATCH OF THE DAY commentary team on VAFA.com.au from 1.45pm, with coverage also available via the SEN App, featuring interviews with the coaches & players and exclusive access into the team huddles.
And if you’re heading to the game – TAKE YOUR HEADPHONES – and enjoy our commentary in REAL-TIME via SEN’s Stadium technology on the SEN App.
The SEN App is available for iPhone and Android, and works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

You can also enjoy our live stream coverage of the biggest blockbuster of the season to date as the Top 2 clash at Brighton Beach Oval – it’s Old Brighton hosting Old Xaverians in must see TV!
Both enter with a 12-2 record, separated only by less than 8 percentage points, so the winner will kick a game clear in the race for the minor premiership with just three rounds to play. But more important than that, the victor will gain a significant psychological advantage over a rival they appear destined to meet again in the first week of September. What a game this promises to be!!
You can catch it LIVE & FREE on VAFA.com.au from 1.55pm Saturday!
Plus, you can enjoy another massive game that will impact BOTH the finals and relegation races as University Blues host Old Scotch LIVE & FREE on VAFA.com.au!
The Blues are coming off their best performance of the season – a stirring come-from-behind 12-point away win over Old Haileybury – that elevated them out of the drop zone, temporarily at least. However, this win is just as vital for Old Scotch’s premiership defence, which is currently under threat. They are the two most unpredictable teams in the comp, so this one could deliver absolutely anything!
Catch every moment on VAFA.com.au from 1.55pm Saturday!
