The VAFA is thrilled to announce that, for the first time in League history, ALL 5 Premier B Men’s matches will be live streamed simultaneously on VAFA.com.au this Saturday from 1.55pm.
See all Saturday’s Live Stream links below or access the Megawall!
“Earlier in the season, the William Buck Premier Men’s Showcase Round made its debut, giving VAFA fans the opportunity to enjoy live streams of every Premier Men’s match from right across Melbourne for the first time,” said VAFA Broadcast & Content Manager, Jason Bennett.
“It captured the imagination of our fans, who were able to keep track of exactly what was going on across the entire Premier Men’s competition in real time. Tragics like me set up Megawalls on their computers to watch five games at once!
“Now, it’s Premier B’s turn and what an incredible competition it’s been all season long. To celebrate, with the generous support of our production partner My Sport Live, we’re launching PREMIER B SHOWCASE Round to shine the spotlight on our Premier B clubs and the fantastic footy they’ve been playing all season.
“This section has been ridiculously tight from the get-go, so the time has come to set up another Megawall on VAFA.com.au and surf between matches taking place right across the city!”
It will be the largest single afternoon of live coverage in VAFA history, with the five Premier B matches accompanied by two Premier Men’s streams, the SEN Match of the Day radio coverage and the Premier Women’s double-header on Kommunity TV.
“We’re committed to growing our VAFA Media coverage to ensure that our broader fan base can view our competition,” said VAFA Chief Executive Officer, Jason Reddick.
“Enabling our Premier B clubs and their sponsors to participate in a Showcase Round is another step towards broadening the footprint of our coverage, and provides great exposure and value for our Clubs’ stakeholders.
“We hope that fans of all our sections log on to VAFA.com.au and enjoy what promises to be an exciting afternoon of Premier B footy in a finals race which still includes 8 of the 10 teams!
“We encourage clubs to set up a Megawall on the big screen in their clubrooms and join in the fun. Our thanks to our valued production partner My Sport Live for helping make this happen.”
The VAFA Premier B Showcase Round, powered by My Sport Live, kicks off at 1.55pm Saturday – LIVE & FREE on VAFA.com.au.
