VAFA Finals Weekend Wrap

It was a another big weekend of VAFA finals action, with seven Grand Finals decided and a thrilling Prelim in William Buck Premier Men’s. Here’s a look at some of the social media highlights.

Old Scotch booked their ticket in Friday’s William Buck Premier Men’s Grand Final at Elsternwick Park with a one-point win over Old Xavs. Angus Jones kicked the winning goal with less than a minute remaining.

In the Holmesglen Under 19 Premier Men’s Grand Final, Old Brighton went back-to-back with an 18-point win over St Kevin’s under the Elsternwick Park lights.

Old Trinity claimed the Premier B Men’s Premiership with a 12-point win over Caulfield Grammarians at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.

On Sunday, Old Scotch took out the 2025 William Buck Premier Women’s Grand Final, defeating Caulfield Grammarians at at Elsternwick Park. Jordy Mifsud had an elite goal assist on her way to a best on ground performance.
