Having undertaken a review of our VAFA staffing structure, we are thrilled to announce that experienced sports administrator Martin Stillman has accepted the role of Executive Manager Football & Projects.
Martin has spent the past three weeks in the role as Acting General Manager Football & Umpires.
We have expanded that role to now incorporate the VAFA’s Club Support and Community services, which will continue to be delivered by Darren Flanigan and Pranav Menon. Martin will also manage special project work, as we look to make our operations as efficient and effective as possible.
Martin said “I’m delighted to join the VAFA as a well renowned and respected community league. I look forward to working with Jason and the team to continue to advance the VAFA competition.”
CEO Jason Reddick stated “we are excited to have a person of Martin’s calibre join the VAFA. He has enormous experience in the sports industry, having served significant administration roles at the VFA, Little Athletics Australia and, most recently, three years as CEO of Northern Football Netball League. In his short time with the VAFA, Martin has already demonstrated what a great asset he will be in supporting our current staff and myself in delivering great outcomes.
“We welcome Martin, wife Bridie and daughters Alexandra and Alana to the VAFA community, and look forward to introducing Martin to our Club members at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 11th December 2025.”
