VAFA Umpires earn promotion to VFL

The VAFA is proud to congratulate Patrick Sexton (Field), Jordan Gibson (Field) and Zane White (Boundary) on their promotion to the VFL State League umpiring panel for 2026.

Earning a place in the State League is a major milestone, and this promotion is a testament to their professionalism and a significant reward for the many years of hard work, commitment and training they have dedicated to developing their craft.

The VAFA has a proven track record of developing high-quality umpires who progress to the state league and beyond. Through strong pathways and elite-level coaching, the VAFA continues to prepare umpires for the demands of higher levels of football.
