The VAFA Division 3 Men’s fixture for 2026 has been released.
Division 3 moves to a six-team structure in 2026, with Hawthorn joining the division following relegation from Division 2. A significant shift also sees Chadstone, Eley Park and Swinburne University transition into the Men’s Thirds competition for 2026, where they can be more competitive. Masala will remain in Men’s Thirds this season.
The competition will feature Wattle Park, Richmond Central, Box Hill North, Albert Park, Hawthorn and La Trobe University. Each team will play each other on three separate occasions across the 15-round home-and-away season, with finals set to begin on August 29th.
There are four scheduled bye rounds throughout the season. The first falls on June 6 for the King’s Birthday long weekend, followed by a mid-season bye on July 4. A further bye will take place on July 11 to accommodate the Big V Premier B-Division 3 representative fixture. The final bye round is scheduled for August 22 for a pre-finals bye.
