The VAFA congratulates Georgia Zuchowski from Old Brighton Grammarians FC, who has been nominated as the Round 3 VAFA Women’s Rising Star.
Georgia impressed in her VAFA debut, being named the best player on the ground in Old Brighton’s William Buck Premier Women’s victory over Fitzroy.
Coach Quote:
Georgia’s versatility is a real asset for us – she’s started across half back, but we see her developing into a genuine ball-winning midfielder in our system. What makes her special is her composure under pressure; she consistently makes smart decisions and executes her skills at a really high level. For a young player, that ability to stay calm and impact the game in different roles is pretty rare.
