VAFA Media Live Coverage: September 5-6

It’s the largest week of finals footy for the entire VAFA season, with 40 finals being played all over town, and we’ve got a bunch of them to keep you on the edge of your seat all weekend!

It kicks off bright & early SATURDAY from 9.15am as the Holmesglen Under 19 Premier finals series gets underway with the Top 2 teams clashing in the Second Semi Final – it’s Old Brighton & Old Xaverians for the express pass straight through to the Grand Final!

Then we’ve got a couple of late-afternoon showdowns to keep you entertained – the other Holmesglen Under 19 Premier clash – the sudden-death First Semi Final between great rivals St Kevin’s & Old Scotch, with the winner to progress to the Prelim, while the loser gets kicked to the kerb.

Plus, our first VAFA Media Grand Final broadcast of the season, as Williamstown CYMS & AJAX meet in the Thirds Division 3 Men’s premiership decider at Point Gellibrand!

Then SUNDAY – start your Fathers’ Day in style with another Grand Final clash, as Power House face Ormond in the Division 1 Women’s decider from 9.40am.

Then all eyes turn to our two William Buck Premier Women’s Semi Finals as last year’s Grand Finalists Old Scotch & Caulfield Grammarians square off for a ticket to this year’s premiership decider, while Kew & Old Brighton fight for finals survival from 1.55pm.

And round out your weekend with TWO MORE Grand Finals to savour, as the two VAFA teams that Carlton great Brendan Fevola has played for in the past two seasons – Eley Park and Masala – meet to decide the Thirds Division 5 Men’s crown.

Then it’s the Premier B Women’s decider as Beaumaris face Port Melbourne Chargers for the title.
