VAFA Media Live Coverage: September 12-13

It’s another BLOCKBUSTER weekend of VAFA finals footy, including another 11 Grand Finals played all over town, plus Semi Finals in William Buck Premier Men’s, and the Preliminary Final in both the William Buck Premier Women’s and Holmesglen Under 19 Premier.

We kick off our weekend bright & early SATURDAY from 9.15am with the Holmesglen Under 19 Premier Preliminary Final as Old Xaverians face St Kevin’s for a shot at shattering Old Brighton’s premiership hat-trick dream next weekend.

We also have a couple of Under 19 GRAND FINALS for you to enjoy on Saturday morning, as Willy CYMS face Old Haileybury in Under 19 South Division 1, while Collegians take on Parkside for the silverware in Under 19 North Division 2.

Then we’re into SUPER SEMI-FINAL SATURDAY in William Buck Premier Men’s!

The sudden-death First Semi Final will see St Kevin’s try to end Old Brighton’s back-to-back flag aspirations, while the Second Semi will see either University Blues or Old Xaverians progress straight through to Grand Final Day.

Meanwhile, we’ll have MORE GRAND FINAL action as the two teams being elevated to Premier footy next season – Preston Bullants & Kew – meet to decide who goes up with the Division 1 Men’s title in their trophy cabinet.

We round out our Saturday coverage with the William Buck Premier Women’s Preliminary Final, as the two-time reigning champions Old Scotch scrap to keep their premiership hat-trick hopes alive against Kew.

We have TWO MORE GRAND FINALS on Sunday morning, when Old Carey and Old Ivanhoe slug it out for the Under 19 North Division 1 cup, while Oakleigh and Monash Blues go into battle for the Under 19 South Division 3 silverware.

Then enjoy a pleasant Sunday afternoon with ANOTHER GRAND FINAL as Power House meet Whitefriars in the Division 2 Men’s premiership decider.
