With Community Football Weekend only 2 weeks away, senior community football clubs around the country are encouraged to go on line and register their clubs activities in celebration of Australian Football 150 Years.

Well, it hasn’t taken long – the first draw of season ’08. Old Scotch and Uni Blacks played out an extraordinary game at Camberwell and the upshot was two points apiece.

Every weekend Ken Petrucco and his team at 96.5 Inner FM bring us there radio coverage of a VAFA A Section clash. This season will be no exception with the team bringing us all the action once again.

The VAFA’s new tipping competition is now up and running. Register today to compete against the rest of the VAFA community and you can also form your own group and compete against just your mates for fantastic prizes.

The following are required to attend a tribunal hearing at Elsternwick Park on Tuesday 16 June 2009 commencing at 7.30 p.m. Please note U19 Tribunal will start at 7.00pm

One thing about Uni Blues and Old Xaverians – they sure know how to turn on a contest! Uni went to the final break 25 points in arrears but stormed home with ten goals in the last quarter to take the cookies.
