Dean Matthews has named a strong initial training squad for the Premier C- Division 4 clash against the Eastern Football League on 1 April.
Banyule has five representatives and 28 clubs have players in the squad of 51. Six of the squad toured Ireland last October, while three of the players have plenty of experience in the Big V senior team. Corey Ely from St John’s toured NZ with the VAFA team in 2010. Six of the squad won their Section best and fairest medals in 2011.
The squad will have its first training run next week.
