Nailbiters Galore as Marcellin become New Ladder Leaders
Round 11 of Division 1 Women’s delivered several tight contests, with three matches decided by seven points or fewer. Marcellin claimed top spot on the ladder after a hard-fought victory
Old Trinity has announced its new senior coach for the 2018 season, with former Marcellin champion Bernie Dinneen taking the reins.
What the club said:
“The Committee of the Old Trinity Grammar Amateur Football Club is proud to announce the appointment of Bernie Dinneen as Senior Head Coach for 2018.
Following an illustrious playing career in the VAFA, VFL and EFL where he won several league best and fairest awards – three at Marcellin, two at Vermont and one at Bayswater as a playing coach – Bernie has coached at a number of clubs and was an assistant coach at Vermont in 2017.
He has a solid record of finals success as a coach/assistant coach to go alongside four premierships as a player.
Bernie’s passion for football and competitive spirit will be significant assets to Old Trinity as we continue on our quest for the ultimate prize, and all at the club welcome Bernie into the Green and Gold family.”
