It is with great sadness that Hampton Rovers Amateur Football Club advise of the sudden passing of Graham “Carrie” Carr.

West Brunswick AFC was a part of The Footy Show last Thursday Night the 31st of July. “Billy’s Wheel” travelled to the D4 leading club for the show’s regular segment.

The third AFL International Cup will be staged in Melbourne and Warrnambool in August 27 / September 6, 2008.

The dates and venues for the 2008 finals series have been announced. VAFA finals run from August 23rd with the commencement of the D and U19 sections and runs through to September 21st with the staging of the A Section Grand Final.

Hampton Rovers maintained top position in C Section after comfortably defeating Whitefriars 12 17: 89 to Whitefriars 8 10: 58.

The Old Xavs crocs scored their first goal at the 18 minute mark of the second quarter yet still managed to overhaul Prahran to win the Club XVIII (1) First Semi Final. They will meet Collegians who went down to Uni Blues in the Second Semi Final.
