Marcellin is excited with the appointment of Steve Macpherson as senior coach.
A son of the ‘Scray (hailing from Clarence, TAS) who pulled on a Bulldogs jumper 188 times in fourteen seasons, Macpherson has been senior coach of Greenvale (EDFL) for the past seven seasons, where he led his club to six grand finals and two premierships.
Steve also coached the EDFL representative side in 2008 to a win over the Northern Football League and coached coached Coburg in the VFL in 1999-2000.
Macpherson works in the Community Health Services area and does a lot of work with young people with challenges to ensure that they remain connected with the broader community.
In the last 18 months he has been actively involved with young people challenged by the consequences of the tragic bushfires in Victoria.
