When is the finals fixture released?
The fixture for each week of the 2023 VAFA Finals Series will be publicly released each Monday on the VAFA website here.
Is there an entry charge to attend VAFA Finals matches?
Yes, there is an entry charge to attend all VAFA-hosted finals matches. Prices vary depending on what finals week it is.
Why is there an entry charge to attend VAFA Finals matches?
The VAFA are a non-for-profit organisation with revenue raised during finals covering finals-related expenses such as venue hire and security costs and contributing to keeping affiliation fees for clubs as low as possible.
How do we pay?
You can avoid the queues by pre-purchasing finals tickets online on the VAFA website via INTIX and scanning your ticket at the gate. You will be required to create an INTIX account in order to easily display and scan your ticket.
You can also pay at the gate where EFTPOS facilities are available. Paying via cash will not be permitted.
Are we allowed to bring our Dogs?
Yes, dogs are permitted at finals venues, as long as they are kept on a leash at all times.
Where can I get something to eat or drink?
Canteens will operate at all VAFA Finals venues. Additional options may be available at other venues including a coffee van.
Can alcohol be consumed at VAFA Finals matches?
The VAFA prides itself on ensuring we provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive match day environment for everyone. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venue under any circumstances. Security may evict any person caught consuming alcohol inside the venue.
A cash bar may operate at selected VAFA Finals matches (with drinking strictly permitted inside only).
Is there extra time if the scores are tied at the final siren?
Yes, extra time shall be played in any match of the 2023 VAFA Finals Series where the scores are level at the completion of playing time. Extra time shall consist of two (2) halves of five (5) minutes plus time on.
Will VAFA Finals matches be live streamed?
Selected matches during the 2024 finals series will be live streamed on the VAFA website and KommunityTV (Herald Sun) website. All William Buck Premier Men’s matches will be broadcast on the SEN App. Additionally, all matches in Premier B & C Men’s will be available to watch on-demand on VAFATV, as well as replays of all Grand Finals. How do I get Live Scores from VAFA Finals matches?
Live scores will be available for all 2023 finals matches via the VAFA website.
