Masala joins forces with North Dandenong Juniors

By VAFA Media · March 5, 2020
Masala joins forces with North Dandenong Juniors

Sensational news out of Masala FC with the announcement of their newly formed relationship with North Dandenong Juniors.

The junior side, which fell into recess 12 months ago, has received administrative and volunteer support from the Tigers, as published in Paul Amy’s article North Dandenong junior football club back in stunning revival.

The juniors will be rebranded as North Dandenong Masala Junior Football Club and both clubs will play home games at Lois Twohig Reserve in North Dandenong.

Masala is one of the great stories of Australian football after entering the VAFA in 2013. There have always been players of multicultural background in the VAFA, and indeed the competition has regularly celebrated Multicultural Round, but the arrival of Masala – a truly multicultural club – brought something different.

The club spent their first two seasons in Club XVIII and whilst their record continues to improve each year, the club is driven to grow and provide a pathway for players of all backgrounds to play Australia’s game.

Please read Paul Amy’s great story via the link above.
