
Round 4 delivers with thrillers galore
Therry Penola bounced back from a tough loss last weekend, defeating Whitefriars by 6 points. Whitefriars led for the majority of the game but were unable to run out victorious.
All three had great seasons as Old Carey consolidated in B Section, and all under 25 will hopefully form a potent combination for many season. Stephen Collins comfortably won the reserves best and fairest despite only playing for half the season with work commitments, while Scott Virtue who played the final three games in the senior side won the U19 best and fairest in only his his first season of football!!!
Coming from a soccer background Scott decided to play football with his mates, and with great pace and skill was an instant success. Ruckman Matthew Roach was runner-up. Another club veteran, Nick Everett took out the Club XVIII best and Fairest.
