Therry Penola bounced back from a tough loss last weekend, defeating Whitefriars by 6 points. Whitefriars led for the majority of the game but were unable to run out victorious.
Eley ParkFootball Club are very pleased to announce Ken Schwab has been appointed as senior coach for 2009 and David Versteegen has been reappointed as reserves coach.
Ken has an extensive coaching background both with junior and senior teams, including coaching in the EDFL, the SESFL and the VAFA as well as being the 1st XVIII coach at Camberwell Grammar for 15 years. Most recently Ken has been the senior assistant coach at Old Camberwell (B Section). Ken’s coaching career has seen him involved in 3 premierships at senior level and finalists on 10 occasions.
