Old Geelong Football Club opened its 2025 season in historic fashion, with its women’s side marking their first year in the William Buck Premier competition with two wins straight out
Matt Robbins has put his coaching career on hold to help out his charges on the field. Robbins, the former Geelong, Western Bulldogs and Ormond player said that he “ is looking forward to concentrating on playing next year and helping the Rovers on the field”.
Hampton Rovers AFC President Jim Westhead said that “Matty Robbins did a great job as coach and he had our boys committed and working well together. All at the Rovers wish him well and look forward to seeing him in the Rovers jumper in 2011 – and beyond.”
