De La Salle defeated Old Trinity at Sportscover this afternoon, totally dominating the final quarter and a half to run out winners by 58 points. Midway through the third stanza, Trinity kicked its eleventh goal without a miss and led the zipper Blue and Golds by 18 points.
The De La response was to add 11.11 to a solitary behind. Again, Andrew Ramsden was a major handful, booting six from the Ts’ first ten. but it was not enough. Trinity managed only a rushed behind in the final term.
Matthew "Mandy" Moore returned to the DLS lineup and with Sam Pickett, provided a great target for their mosquito fleet. They kicked 3.6 and 3.5 respectively, inaccurate but still very effective.
