In Division 4, the pre-season expectations for some clubs were lived up to as thrashings were the order of the day.
Canterbury registered a 63 point win over Masala in the Cobras first home game for the year. Wilson’s five goals and three from Baker the catalysts of the win.
Manningham Cobras handed Chadstone a 113 point win to secure their first four points of 2015. Jolly kicked six goals and Bell was again good for the Cobras.
Westbourne Grammarians made one of the longest trips in the VAFA worthwhile as they launched their season with a 63 point win at Mt Lilydale. The Warriors players shared the goals and don’t discount them from your Division 4 calculations this year.
North Brunswick had a 38 point win over the visiting Box Hill North. The Bulls stamped their authority in the third term when they booted eight goals to two to change what had been a tight low scoring game.
Point Cook dismantled Parkside by 101 points at Saltwater Reserve. Parkside has gone from a 1 point loss in Round 1 to a 101 point loss in Round 2. The emotions would be entirely different, but nevertheless the end result is the same. The Red Devils are without a win and the Bulldogs are 2-0.
