SKOBs and Tonners deliver in Premier B

The match of the round in Premier B was the top of the table clash but there were plenty of other thrilling encounters to keep punters interested in Round 5.

St Kevin’s went outright top after they eclipsed Old Brighton by 12 points at the Beach Oval. It was a low scoring armwrestle that SKOBS took the points in.

Caulfield Grammarians found a way to defeat Fitzroy by points at the racecourse ground. Four goals from Keegan Stewart were pivotal in low scoring affair.

The Premier C Grand Final re-match was a mismatch as Hampton Rovers piled on te pain for Parkdale Vultures to win by 10 goals. Turner and Robbins both booted three goals each.

Josh Cowan booted four goals for Mazenod in their 33 point win over AJAX at Central Reserve. Jake Lew booted four goals in a losing cause for the Jackers.

Old Melburnians turned their back on two disappointing weeks to come away with a brilliant one point win over St Bedes/Mentone Tigers at the Junction Oval. Both sides are now 3-2 and sit inside the top four by a game from four others.
