It’s not everyday you boot fifteen goals, but when you do, it’s worth celebrating. Dale Collins broke the Westbourne Grammarians club record as he booted 15 of his side’s 30 goals to help the Warriors to a huge 174 point win over Masala. Matthew Muhar booted five goals for Westbourne in what was a sorry day for the Tigers who only managed three goals as a team.
Mt Lilydale had one of their biggest wins in years as they crushed the visiting Chadstone by 119 points. Max Hampton the best for the Rams, kicking five goals for the day.
Point Cook had their biggest challenge in weeks as they held on to beat Manningham by seven points at Saltwater Reserve. The win keeps Point Cook undefeated whilst Manningham drop to 2-4 in sixth.
In the match up between top and third, Canterbury showed just how good they are as they beat the third placed Bulls on their own patch by 75 points. James Wilson and Adam Baker both kicked four goals each in the win that sees the Cobras undefeated after seven.
Daniel Penny kicked six goals and Drew Howlett five as Box Hill North beat South Mornington by 71 points at Elgar Park. Michael Heib kicked four goals in a losing side, whilst Box Hill North move to fifth with the win.
