The VAFA like all levels of Australian football continues to focus on the improved wellbeing of our players. With more and more information on concussion and tools to help assess and prevent ongoing serious injury available, the VAFA is committed to ensuring our players and clubs have the best information and tools available.
The VAFA has experienced a number of concussion incidents over the first half of the 2015 season and as a follow up to ensure the safety of all VAFA players, the information below is provided for club medical staff outlining the correct protocols on properly assessing and treating concussion.
