The Communications and Digital Media component of this year’s VAFA Conference will take part in three separate sessions in a bid to cover as much related content as possible.
Joining VAFA Media and Communications Co-ordinator, Nick Armistead (Communications), will be Director of Thirst Studios, Benjamin Tollady (Social Media), and Hawthorn Digital Media Manager, Andrew Leonard (Digital Media and Website Management).
Tollady has carved a career in the IT world as Director of Thirst Studios and Geek Night, and will impart his knowledge and experience to showcase the best methods of optimising each specific social media channel with in-depth tips and discussion, as well as stories on social media success within the sporting landscape.
Leonard – former VAFA Media and Communications Manager and current Hawthorn Digital Media spearhead – will present the latest in digital media from an AFL perspective and how best to develop each Club’s media presence using a variety of platforms.
Club officials and Media Managers are encouraged to attend this component of the Conference, which will commence in at 9:30am in Monash University’s K212 tutorial room.
