West Brunswick returned from their Round 6 Bye having lost no confidence as they trounced Richmond Central to the sum of 73 points at Ransford Oval. Both Zac Tisdale and Patrick Carroll registered three goals each as the Westies solidified second spot on the ladder one win ahead of the Bullants in third. The Snakes are running a percentage of 44.61 but are second-last and half a game clear of the Turtles in ninth.
Preston Bullants came from 21 points down at the final break and ran over the top of Yarra Valley for a four-point victory at Patterson Oval. Five goals to two in the fourth term was enough for the third-placed Bullants to scrape over the line for their fourth win from six matches.
