The Victorian Amateur Football Association is proud to unveil its 2017 commemorative logo in celebration of the 125th year anniversary of our competition.
The new-look design maintains the traditional elements of the current version with the circular Big V, but enhanced features, including a unique twist on the VAFA’s slogan across a white ribbon, add a modernised and dynamic twist.
President, Tim Nelson, said it was important the commemorative design incorporated past traditions and the values underpinning our Association.
“The traditional Big V showcases our respect for the past and those who have contributed to our Association, including the players who have upheld the amateur ethos for 125 years,” Nelson said.
“The decision to release a commemorative design keeps in line with the Board’s vision to the future of our competition as we continually look to develop and innovate.”
The logo will be used on this year’s Big V apparel and across all digital and social media platforms.
