The award has been presented to the best and fairest player in the VAFA’s top section since 1927 and will be awarded tonight for the 84th time. The event will take place at Crown’s River Room and recognises both male and female VAFA footballers, as well as umpires which includes the prestigious Umpire of the Year award.
The 2017 Men’s Rising Star will be announced along with the presentation of medals to all section Best & Fairest winners and the Premier Coaches MVP.
