Congratulations to Uni Blacks young gun, Lachie Haysman, who has been named the Round 3 Grill’d Rising Star following his outstanding performance during the Blacks’ 95-point win over Ajax on Saturday.
What the club said:
“Lachie moved over to the University Blacks in 2017 from St.Peters Old Collegians in Adelaide.
He plays a lot like Oliver Florent (Sydney Swans) and his strengths include speed, endurance and skills. For a lightly framed player he also has tremendous courage and is a good tackler.
Lachie is known for being a respectful, polite, friendly and hardworking young man. Add his youthful young looks and he is the complete package.
Lachie has shown that he can play multiple roles including the wing, half back, half forward and has a great attitude to learn and improve.
He has fought very hard to win his spot in the senior side and has a bright football future ahead of him.”
