Both Eltham and Emmaus St Leos will look to make a statement in their Round 11 clash, with the Animals looking to distance themselves from the bottom two and the Turtles hoping to notch their first win of 2018.
Power House must win against Yarra Old Grammarians and will rely on other results to ensure they can jump out of the relegation zone. The Rangers, who have pushed themselves into the top four, will be a difficult outfit for the House to stop with their vast spread of goalkickers.
Both Bulleen and MHSOB are on the edge of breaking through to the top four, so a win for either will decide if they are fit for the finals. Bulleen have shown that they can match with the best, so expect a fast pace game from these two sides. Last time they met MHSOB pulled through by only six points.
St John’s miserable Round 10 result will have them desperate for the four points against Old Paradians, who will be looking to come out strong to defend their undefeated title. While the ladder says that the Raiders are more likely to win, the Jocs at home are hard to beat, so watch to see how this one plays out.
With UHS-VU recently replacing Whitefriars in second place, this will be the game of the round, showcasing skill and defence. Last time they met, UHS-VU caused a big upset and defeated the Friars boys, making them one of the only sides this season who have been able to stop the high pressure scoring from multiple Whitefriars outlets. Look for this as an insight into what may be a gusty finals match to come.
