Eley Park have been successful in their funding application for upgraded appliances through the newly created Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) Canteen Grant Program.
This unique program is an outcome from the partnership between AFL Victoria and ESV, where community football clubs were invited to apply for canteen grants to purchase new gas or electrical canteen appliances to replace aging or unsafe equipment.
Under the scheme, all leagues affiliated with AFL Victoria were eligible to apply for the funding in order to improve their club’s energy safety, and Eley Park are hoping to use their grant funding to replace their main canteen fridge to reduce energy consumption, lower their ongoing fridge maintenance costs and ensure they have a fully functioning and reliable fridge.
Well done Eley Park!
