Eat good burgers and win money for your VAFA club? It’s a no-brainer.
It’s hard to believe in a little under two months’ time the VAFA 2018 season will be done and dusted. Fortunately, there are plenty of incentives for our clubs to capitalise on and oodles of footy to be played in the prelude; including the Grill’d “Footy Matters” month.
Grill’d, a highly regarded burger institution in Australia, has joined forces yet again with the VAFA to continue providing creative and supportive activations for the clubs and players in our competition, especially the Local Matters takeover. Local Matters, which has been retitled “Footy Matters”, is the Grill’d community donation program where select restaurants across Melbourne will donate back to their local VAFA clubs for the month of July.
In this year’s Footy Matters month, every single VAFA club is represented at a specified Grill’d restaurant. All you need to do to assist your club in winning the $300 top prize is check out the Grill’d restaurant supporting your club, buy a burger, and place your token in your club’s jar! At the end of the month, the jar with the most tokens will win its namesake a $300 donation, while the other two clubs will each receive $100.
If you’re a VAFA player or official, don’t forget you get a free Corona or Remedy Kombucha with any burger purchased during the season, and you will put your club in the running for a 2019 AFL corporate box experience. Follow the link below to sign-up, and good-luck!
