The Victorian Amateur Football Association would like to congratulate our very own Alisha Min after she was recently appointed as a Director on the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS) Victorian State Council.
Alisha, 24, started with the VAFA as Media, Marketing & Events Officer in April last year and joins the CAMS council as the youngest member and its only female Director.
“I’m really excited to be part of CAMS and contribute to the fantastic work this executive do for motor sport in Victoria,” she said.
“My experience in the sporting landscape, including former employment at Vicsport and now at the VAFA, puts me in good stead to provide an industry-conscious perspective to this executive.
“Hopefully this diversity can value-add to CAMS mission to advance and grow motor sport for Australian participants at all levels.”
As an eight-year-old, Alisha first took an interest in motor sport when she attended a V8 super cars event with her father, Peter, in Adelaide.
“I am definitely a motor sport enthusiast,” she said.
“From regularly attending V8 Supercars Championship and Porsche Carrera Cup events around Australia, to witnessing the Formula 1’s for the first time in Albert Park last year – I am undoubtedly a huge fan of the sport.”
Alisha was officially introduced to the CAMS Victorian members at her first meeting on Tuesday night.
